Working IPD
As part of Radonic Corp.’s identity, the company vision establishes that in order to provide a a higher level of service, a high level of integration is required among all the parties involved in the project. This is the same principle that Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) emphasizes. Radonic Corp. has established itself as a pioneer in Puerto Rico by utilizing this construction approach. The company has determined that it is the best approach to handle a project in order to guarantee its outcome and satisfaction of its customers.
According to the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Integrated Project Delivery is defined as a “project delivery approach that integrates people, systems, business structures and practices into a process that collaboratively harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication and construction.” IPD’s benefits include: higher productivity, fewer claims, less rework, and better profitability. As can be withdrawn from this definition, it is important to pay close attention to every phase of the project and integrate all resources in order to obtain and hand in to the client a successful product. Radonic Corp. is a proactive company from the pre construction design phase to the post construction clean up and delivery.
The following are the basic principles for Integrated Project Delivery, as established by the AIA. Radonic Corp. has also taken these principles and incorporated them as part of the company operations::
